Proportions. I think this is probably the hardest thing about building a physique, is keeping everything balanced and even. Not letting one body part overpower another, letting a muscle group make another group appear smaller than it really is, and last but not least make sure your lower body matches your upper. No girl/guy wants a man with 🐔legs, they want a man who isn't scared to get under the squat rack and move some damn weight.... haha jk, but seriously train your legs, it's good for you. - Hope you all had a great week and weekend. A study [1, 2] conducted on 15 well resistance trained athletes used placebo pills in place of steroid pills to analyze the effects of placebo on weightlifters performance. Before any pills were administered, all the lifters went through a 7 week training period and managed to put on a combined​ average of 22 lbs on their bench, military press, seated press, and squat. After the 7 weeks, 6 of the participants were given placebo pills *thinking* they were steroid pills. After just 4 weeks of training, they managed to put on a combine total of 100 lbs on the same lifts. In other studies athletes were given things like sugar-water, milk-sugar tables, placebo caffeine pills, placebo amino acid pills, and super oxygenated water *thinking* they were receiving a performance enhancement supplement.
