My mental game had to be super strong today. My schedule is all over the place today. I didnt think I was going to have a good stretch of time to lift today. So inyood myself to get up before the sun and train. When my alarm went off😩😩😭. I questioned whether I really wanted to train today. Or at all. You will always have bad or weak days. It's perfectly normal. Since in don't have any enablers, motivators, or personal supporters for this sport, I have to be own strength. Forced myself out of bed, chugged my MuscleEgg and black coffee, gran d my bag and headed to the gym. Once I got there, my body knew exactly what it needed to do. Its like childbirth, your body knows what to do, its your mind that you have keep calm. Chest day DONE. "Courage is only the accumulation of small steps." -George Konrad sometimes it's scary to start something new. Whether that's a new gym or a new workout routine or putting yourself out there in someway and feeling vulnerable. I feel that way every time I post any type of progress pictures. There's this fear of judgment. And believe it or not I would feel that way in a big gym. I love that I can work out at home. However whenever I do find myself putting myself out there being vulnerable or courageous I find that it just helps me be that much better at what I'm doing. And hopefully inspire somebody else. And everything that I've done has been in the small steps I didn't go from my starting point to being brave enough to post all the things I am I didn't start out teaching other people I started out with me. So be brave and take another small step towards your goal today! Today's workout was awesome! A little cardio and core work. First part 15-12-9-6-3 Cleans (used 65 &85lb) Push-ups Superman followed by a Tabata style work out 20 seconds on 10 seconds rest four sets of each movement. GYM DREAMING 💭 - - Working another 12 hour shift today which I HATE because it means I miss gym sessions and then feel shit about myself. This is 💯 something I need to work on. Just because you miss one or two gym sessions does not undo all of the hard work you have achieved over weeks/months/years and I need to drum this into my brain! - - Cannot seem to get the nutrition back on track, I forgot how difficult it is trying to diet at work when people bring in choccy left right and centre.
