Eep 🙊 I'm a bit nervious to put this up, but transformation post alert!! So, there is a year between these two pics! The left 👈🏼 is Jan 2016, and the right 👉🏼 is Jan 2017, last weekend. There are only 3 kg (about 6.5 lbs) difference between the two!! My progress has been slow and steady and hasn't been 100% linear, but I feel amazing both inside and out. Doing this slowly has enabled me to turn "being healthy" into my lifestyle, rather than just following a fad diet, plus I have also overcome my binging mindset, healed my tummy (I used to have crazy bouts of "IBS") and fallen in love with the gym and being active. To all women out there wondering why they can't lose weight as quickly as their menfolk understand that the differences are huge. Two major factors are ; 1. Men have double the amount of muscle mass and will therefore burn fat that much quicker. This is a huge factor in aiding their weight loss, whereas we also have to rely far more strictly on good food choices to aid our fat loss. 2. The majority of men just need a bit of information or education before they apply their minds thoroughly to whatever their focus is. Women work far more with their emotions which can be triggered all day long and unfortunately turn to food as a comfort. Meal prep done for today. Healthy carbs day 😊. Just had 6 egg whites, banana with oats and a nice cup of coffee for breakfast. Having tuna with rest of meals as tuna has no fat. On my healthy carb day I reduce the fats or completely cut it out. Just protein and carbs. I'll have another banana with rye crisp bread later before gym. I'll have some fruit after gym too.
