Throwback to last Thursday at the Chandelier Bar. I used to be @rebelrufus manager at Abercrombie back in the day haha. It was funny to see these 3 dudes come to work at different times and wearing the exact same shirt 😂 so I had to take a picture of it, it's cool to see people wearing the brand that @sj_phit and I created and hearing how much people love the shirt quality and @elitephitnessco •Passion Never Stops• #elitephitness #epc #phitness #bodybuilding #bodybuilder #bodybuildingmotivation #fit #fitfam #fitness #fitcouple #fitnessaddict #fitnessjourney #gym #gymrat #gymtime #gymlife #gymmotivation #workout #supplements #nutrition #passion #clothing #physique #npc #utah #utahfitfam
Today it's a two-a-day. Since gym is closed Monday I need to make hardy cardio. Killed back and biceps and coming back for my cardio. I normally don't lift in shirts with sleeves but this one felt good. Long enough so it didn't pull up, light, and pretty awesome reminder. Oh and it was free✌🏻 #pump #pullday #biceps #aesthetic #hardwork #workhard #gym #bodybuilding #bodybuilder #igbodybuilding #bbcom #gains #training #dedication #gymrat #physique #beastmode #gymlife #fitlife #fitdad #shredded #inspiration #workout #healthylifestyle #instagood #happy
Madrid is just around the corner, so I wanted take my training and diet to another level. EVERYTHING is not for EVERY BODY! I started my keto diet about a month ago and researched it before I began. Once I found out that it was a low carb diet I didn't think it would be much different from other diets that I've done in the past. The difference here being keto is a high fat, low carb diet versus my usual low carb, high protein and low fat diet. Based on my body fat at the time, activity levels, and various other factors, I calculated my macros for my desired outcome. I created an Excel spreadsheet for my macros. A couple weeks into this new diet it was kind of a mental mind $%. I'm not used to using extra fat products to make up for calories in my meals or slashing my protein intake, so it messed with my head a bit. I was having bacon every morning and taco salad with cheddar cheese and sour cream for lunch. A couple weeks into the diet I dropped maybe a pound. So, I was like, "okay, this looks good, and I MUST be in ketosis". Then the next 2 and a half weeks I gained 3 pounds back. I was following my diet exactly and hadn't strayed from it so the reason as to why I'm now at 193 pounds just didn't add up. Especially considering the fact that in addition to my normal rigourous workouts I began my HIIT fasted cardio every other morning. Unfortunately for me I don't have the time to figure out why this isn't working for my body. So I took this pic last night and I am flexing in the pic and I know I don't look at all "fat" or "out of shape" but when you are in tune with and know your body so well you will quickly feel when something is off or isn't working for you. Ideally I have about 8 to 10 pounds to shed particularly around my midsection, because it currently is not the midsection I know when I feel at my best. I guess the point is never be afraid to try something different because if it doesn't work out, you can always go back. Anyway, that's my 2 cents. I hope everyone's prep for the summer is going well and hope to see some of you in Madrid in June! #summeriscoming #madrid #travel #fit #keto #diet
