This breakfast salad is not vegan, gluten free or sugar free. But it does represent how far I've come on my journey related to food and more importantly food choices. • • • • • • • Had leftover white fish Caesar salad from dinner last night and instead of just throwing it out I added some breakfast sausage and an over easy egg. It's amazing how delicious food can be. Really! It took me a while but I'm finally able to create dishes that not only please my pallet they even sometimes impress my husband, who is a trained chef. • • • • • If you're look my to change your eating habits, try not to get overwhelmed. Start with eliminating breads and adding more veggies, cut down on sugar drinks and have more lemon water, eat meats that are locally grown instead of meats that are from a factory farm type setting. The human body is a phenomenal machine.
