MI TORRE LIBANESA by #DoritaCooks ___ Este plato lo comí en Catia, en un restaurante muy famoso de comida libanesa. Era hecho con berenjenas y le pregunté a la cocinera cómo se hacía. Me dijo que no me iba a decir, así que desde ese momento me apliqué y ya la hago hasta con arroz integral y con otros vegetales. Y eso que no me dio la receta. ___ Al final es una torre de arroz integral, carne magra molida con pimienta árabe y calabacines grillados. ___ El arroz integral lleva su tiempo para cocinar, toma previsiones. Por cada taza de arroz integral usa 4 tazas de agua y dale tiempo... 40-50 min y mucha paciencia porque bien vale la pena sin olvidar agregarle sal y 1/2 cebolla al gua de la cocción para ganar sabor! ___ La carne molida sin más grasa de la necesaria para que no se pegue de tu olla o sartén. Adereza con sal y pimienta árabe (canela, nuez moscada, guayabita, pimienta blanca y negra) y se vale sofreír ajos finamente picados. Permite que el líquido que se forma se reduzca gracias al calor. ___ Los calabacines se doran con gotas de aceite en una plancha o sartén antiadherente. Puedes usar una lata a la que has retirado ambas tapas y luego de que todo está perfectamente cocinado, armar tu torre libanesa. ___ Te recomiendo sustituir los calabacines por berenjenas 🍆 y probar la diferencia de sabores. Amas los pimientos? Ni dudes en dejarles sustituir berenjenas o calabacines. With all of these Weight Loss vs Weight Gain images I post it should be implied that one meal isn’t necessarily going to make you gain weight or lose weight. They are meant to be visuals for what your meals could look like if you have a goal of losing or gaining weight. Energy balance is important for making body composition changes and if you count calories it’s going to be easier to ensure you’re hitting the correct state of energy balance. But I don’t like counting calories and I know a lot of you don’t either. The purpose of these posts is to show you some simple changes you can make throughout your day to fit your goals. On the weight gain side of this post is one cup of rice. That’s 200 extra calories. If you’re trying to gain weight that’s a good place to start, it fits into most meals and you can flavor it to match. Omitting the rice on the weight loss side is an easy way to cut back on calories. Can you still eat rice and lose weight? Obviously. It’s about calorie balance. Cutting the rice is just the easiest thing to remove. . . The difference between these meals is obviously in the rice. I added a cup of rice and decided to try and add more vegetables as well. I blended a big handful of spinach and cilantro to a blender with some water and then used that to cook the rice in. Once the rice finished cooking I added salt, oil, and lime juice.
