Sometimes I have to make adjustments to my nutrition with the types of foods I can/can’t eat depending on the current state of my health/digestion.....BUT- I never let that prevent me from figuring out how to still make delicious meals that I look forward to eating!! Last night’s dinner: Wild salmon 🐟 cooked in bacon grease, turmeric, sea salt and Italian herbs 🌿 Baby bok Chou steamed in bone 🍖 broth And those look like potatoes right??... nope! It’s actually steamed rutabaga (much less starch and is actually a natural Candida killer!) that I covered in butter flavored coconut oil, sea salt, and chopped bacon 🥓 yummy!! I bought this dish for Preston thinking he would LOVE it! He’s never used it. I use it ALL THE TIME! 🥜I think the most common question we get is what to have for snacks! Keep it simple. Focus on whole (translation=real) food. 🥜And don’t overdo it! You can have a perfect day of eating and ruin it with one snack. 🥜The most common mistake I see people making when they’re trying to lose weight is eating way too many nuts. Yes, nuts are healthy for you and we all know how much I’m a fan of good fats 🙋🏻‍♀️. But....if you’re snacking out of a Costco bag of almonds while sitting at your desk it may slightly hinder your weight loss 🤔 (and by slightly I meanBIG TIME). 🥜That’s why I love this dish. It makes eating an apple and peanut butter more interesting and you can portion out your peanut butter so you don’t end up mindlessly eating it by the spoonful out of the jar...
