Let's talk about today's DMs: First, OMG 😮😮😮 I did all 4 rounds but I may have had to stop doing the pushups with the burpees a few in. I broke them down into 5s between the other moves which was super helpful. You know what though?!? We did 80 burpees ladies!! We rock!!! First of all I think this is hilarious and second I am flipping that switch Bc I don't want to be stressed anymore. That leads to anxiety for me then I end up Being Hard On Myself!!! And No Thank You! Adios 👋🏽Stress!!! . 🌟LIFE IS 10% of What HAPPENS TO ME AND 90% of How I REACT TO IT! 🌟 . . Things can Pop in our heads and create Stress, it's our choice to stay in that stress bubble or Pop it.. . I'm letting go of Things I can not control. I practiced this a ton after My mom passed and lately with taking care of my Gram I forgot all about it.. . I can't control what is going to happen to her. I just know I want to be there as much as I can, that's what I should do. As for the tour, I just started stressing what am I going to wear, I'm bloated, my face is breaking out, I have no money Bc I've been out of work but now working again. WELL all that is True and I'm Aware of it but starting today, I will not let it Consume me. Bc honestly (I'm laughing) that's really not a Big deal. I'm going to go to the Tour and have a Blast. That's so minor and I was making it MAJOR! . . I will make money and can work extra hours so WHY stress. 🤷🏼‍♀️. . So I'm going back to asking myself questions: is this really a Big deal? What can you do to Change this Situation? If you can't deal with it now, don't stress about it-take care of it when you can. You don't want that added weight on your shoulders. . I’ve been following a pescatarian diet for a week now and all week I felt slimmer overall 👌🏼 I still struggle with lower belly fat even though my upper abs are (finally!) starting to pop a little! I gotta be honest, I haven’t felt like this in a very long time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It was a rough morning to say the least (with a 3am wake up call) and I have a to-do list a mile long, so a workout was the last thing I wanted to do this morning. I almost opted for a two hour snooze but I knew if I didn’t show up for myself today I’d regret it and feel even more stressed out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Show up everyday. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Even when you don’t feel like it. Besides lookin real pretty they are soooo important for functional fitness in keeping proper form and efficient muscle recruitment. . . . If these make your back unhappy 😖 you can try hamstring curls on a leg curl machine or standing leg curl machine at the gym! If you’re not a #gymrat, try donkey kicks and standing leg extensions with a mini-band. And you can never go wrong with a regular ol’ straight leg deadlift 💪🏽 . . Make me proud this summer!
