AGILITY LADDER HIIT CIRCUIT ☠️ I feel like so many of the HIIT circuits on IG feature the same sort of movements, but if you want something that feels more like speed training for a sport then try this baby out!! If you don’t have an actual agility ladder, you can mark out the spaces with chalk or you can use nothing at all! • Workout...: ⚡️Moving Push-ups: These can be done on the knees if you need to make it easier! I just go one way for these bc I die..... ⚡️Forward Steps: Go one way using your right foot first and then back using your left foot first ⚡️Side steps: One way with right foot leading and back with left foot leading......... ⚡️Ickey Shuffle: This one can be a little tricky but think of it as a three-step motion. One foot in a square, shuffle so that same foot is out of the square, and then up one square....... ⚡️In/Out jumps: Jump inside of each square and then out, with both feet at the same time ⚡️2 forward/1 back (not shown): Step both feet up two squares and then back one square through the whole ladder. • ➡️I do all of these up and back one time (except the push-ups) and then repeat for a total of 3-4 rounds! • Happy hump day friends! 💗

Last week’s agility training was a little different! 😉 Instead of setting up a course like I usually do, I just did a series of drills. Each round started with lateral shuffles + a medicine ball wall slam, then I utilized different jumps and footwork for the hurdles, the agility ladder, and last was a depth jump. I usually START with jumps, but saving the depth jump for last was definitely a challenge—didn’t get the depth jump on the first try until the third of 5 rounds. Ran some agility drills for the first time with @grayson34 today and I can honestly say I got my ass kicked. It’s always so fun to me to switch up shit and try something new. Added a new quickness drill to our ladder routine this past Saturday 👍🏽 part of getting better is being confused while learning something new, and each week this young athletes keep improving on where they were the previous session.
