The “I’m very tired, but very happy with this workout” look 😂😂. Chest and shoulders today was awesome! Bench was on point (and feeling strong) and shoulder work went amazingly! No pain, and no mobility issues. I think the rehab workouts I’ve been doing have been doing wonders for my range of motion. Overall the workout supersetted chest with different heads of the deltoid. The rep ranges were mainly 6-8 for chest and 10-15 for shoulders. I think the stomach vacuum is probably one of the best exercise’s for better control over the abdominal’s. My waist has probably shrunk about 2 inches or more thanks to these. Even at 195lbs and higher body-fat % I’m trying to keep the tightest waist possible.

5 year difference. From when I used to “compete” aka be fluffy all year because it was “off season” and then diet down and kill myself for 12 weeks to look decent. Compared to NOW I look like this everyday because I learned my body, and learned about balance and what diet works/ doesn’t work for me. #humpday
Back at it after taking a week off from the gym traveling the country. This week break was quite necessary for my body as I can pretty much count on one hand how many rest days I’ve taken since December...At first when I left for my trip I was concerned about taking so many days off in a row, but 3 days into my trip of no lifting I realized it was exactly what my body needed. A lot of my tight tendons and achy joints are feeling night & day better now...Sometimes the body just needs rest...Keep in mind though I’ve been going hard as a mother fucker with hardly any rest days since December. Don’t use “oh my body needs rest today” as an excuse to skip workouts. That’s just called being a pussy. It’s important to be able to learn and read your own body and know when to push it and when to back off a little...but to be honest, 99% of the time you need to be pushing. GO HARD OR GO HOME!...Feels good to be back in the gym moving some iron again after a week of rest, recovery, vacation, beer, and candy. 😎 - 140 lbs dumbbells for 10 reps.
