Let’s Talk Carbs!!⁣ Wednesday Wisdom 😉 ⁣ Have you ever been told “Carbs are bad for you!” Or “You’ll gain weight eating carbs!” ? ⁣🤔 ⁣ Comment down below YES if you have!⁣ ⁣ Even if it was just ONCE in your life! ⁣ ⁣ Now, Carbohydrates are one of 3 Macronutirents that make up calories⁣ ⁣ Carbs are your Energy Source!⁣ ⁣ At least the faster acting, and also is stored as glycogen into the muscle to be used when exercising.⁣ ⁣ Now that being said, can you gain fat by eating carbs.....??⁣ ⁣ Sure, when in EXCESS! Just like Any other macronutrient! ⁣ ⁣ It’s all about Balance, within your macronutrients to create a calorie DEFICIT in order to lose weight (If that’s your goal of course) ⁣ ⁣ A few tips on improving insulin sensitivity so when eating carbs, there is less likely storage of fat and more as glycogen in the muscles:⁣ ⁣ 1. 10 minute walks (at least 3 per day directly after a meal)🚶🏻‍♂️⁣ ⁣ 2. Figure out what your goal is. Why is it your goal? Who are you doing it for? How bad do you want it? Exercise is more mental than physical. And change won’t happen overnight. Be practical. Find something you like and give yourself some time every day. Make yourself a priority And you WILL see the change. Know your why

Took yesterday off as miss Ivory wasn’t feeling well and honestly, I needed it. We curled up and watched Netflix. Eating a decent amount of cals and the day off translated into a pretty decent run today. Ran a lot of it on incline and really picked up the pace at the end. I’m happy with it!
