Tried to drag myself to the gym today but I honestly wasn’t feeling it, I was beating myself up because I took yesterday off as well and didn’t want to use up all my rest days at the beginning of the week aaaaand I haven’t eaten enough/properly the past 2 days ..but then I thought ,fuck it - I’m tired and not in the mood so what does it matter, I can go tomorrow and start fresh with training and food. Moral of the story; don’t beat yourself up if you’re having a shit day or two. Just pick yourself up and get back to it 🌈

‼️please read ‼️ Little bit of a different transformation! Left is few months ago and right is me a week ago! So many may say “not much difference” “stop moaning” etc. But left is where I wish I was still at! Yes I am bulking and yes I expect to put weight on but I am soooo uncomfortably about it! I looked at myself in the mirror on the weekend and was so unhappy with how I looked I feel I took the bulk to the next level and my training wasn’t happening good! I mean it’s not about how you look it’s about how you feel and I may look okay but I am not feeling okay naaaamean?! Yes I haven’t put much on and yes I will sort it out! But it’s all mental and it can put you down when you feel you’ve gone backwards! Anyway no need o be negative it’s actually kicked me up and the butt I’ve started to do a mini cut just to make me feel better mentally and my motivation with training has finally come back! Arm workout at the apt gym 💪🏼 I finished with a 10 min circuit of weighted jump rope, medicine ball slams, and burpees into tuck jumps. I’ve been really, REALLY sloppy with my eating this past week while I’m stressed with school, but I’ll never miss a workout.
Last night my pole was slippery and I was SO sore - wrists, back, inner thighs (seriously poles BURN 🔥) buuuuut I managed to do cross ankle, which I’ve had a mental block with since being shown it two weeks ago. One major thing I used to struggle with was portion control. I never knew how much to eat. I was never one to count calories or macros. When I found my current system, it was so easy! If it fits, you eat it! I don’t think portion control can get much simpler than that! To this day I’m still surprised at how much fits in my containers! 💜
When I take rest days I go crazy. 🤖 I took a rest day yesterday and I just felt off. I know my body needs that day to rest and recover, but you realize how much how mind needs that workout to feel accomplished and happy, showing that working out isn’t a punishment, its relief.
