Sometimes you just need a quick and easy dinner. Today was one of those days. Even on days like today I don’t like to sacrifice the quality of my food and the good news is you don’t have to. Find what works for you. You can eat healthy without having to make elaborate, time consuming meals. Today what that looks like for me is some grass fed ground beef seasoned with taco seasoning with some sautéed rainbow chard for dinner. Hey there... So I thought it was about time I introduce myself. So here's a bit about me... • My name is Emma and I'm 5'6" and around 180lbs. (Haven't checked recently 🤷) • I live in Montpelier, Virginia. • I was homeschooled. I'm the oldest of 5 kids. I have recently found myself in the position of “health coach,” and it has been one of the most inspiring and confidence boosting experiences I’ve ever had. I never thought I would use my certificate in a real way. I mean fuck, I only did the program because I was at a weird point of feeling completely lost and unfulfilled, and realized that for years nutrition and health were things I was constantly researching on my own. But about two months ago, I started a program for my Dad. He has one of the worst cases of full body Psoriasis on the planet and is in dire need of knee surgery (which thanks to the psoriasis has a 70% chance of infection leading to amputation), and to everyone’s amazement it has now almost disappeared! 🙊 He no longer feels like he is on fire all day. His skin is smooth, soft, supple and shiny! Seeing his improvement has made other members of my family give the cleanse a go and they are all experiencing amazing results. 🌱 My heart has never felt so full as it did after speaking with all of them this morning and hearing EVERYONE say that to them, this is not a diet, it is something that has changed their entire way of eating and looking at food forever. They have all reported feeling lighter, happier, and more clear headed. The weight loss has been just a bonus to the actual repairs and cleansing they are doing for their bodies. It was so beautiful to hear them speak about becoming more aware of themselves. Really tapping in to their feelings and their bodies. They realizations they have been having are priceless and I am so glad I have been able to be a part of their journey!!! So after all that, it made me realize that this is what coaching is about; giving people guidance and then watching as they make their own discoveries. 🌸Anyway long story short I am now offering health coaching services! Do you take apple cider vinegar shots? • • • I haven't had the best of luck taking apple cider vinegar shots or drinking ACV in general. It make me want to hurl. 🤢 This drink makes all the difference however. • • • Introducing @vermontvillage sipping vinegar! What a game changer for me and my digestion. I had heard of this brand on social media and had purchased some ACV by them at costco, but had not found these sipping vinegars in stores near me yet. Their sipping vinegars are flavored with turmeric, ginger, cranberry, or blueberry. So far I've only tried the turmeric and it's delicious with some orange flavored sparkling water- who knew!?! Somebody was thinking there! Win for my tastebuds and win for my digestion. ♻️

When we are looking to eat healthy, the first meal that springs to mind is the dreaded salad -- but even a simple salad is missing important components for a healthy meal. What are these main components for a balanced meal? Macronutrients. When we’re looking at macronutrients the key things we’re looking at are carbohydrates, fat and protein. Macronutrients are the energy-giving components of our foods and help our bodies to function properly. If the meals we eat are not macronutrient balanced, it can affect the way our bodies function. If you’re eating unbalanced meals, you’ll possibly gain or lose weight in an undesirable way. You might not feel as well or energetic as you can. This is a pitfall of low carb diets. So when eating a salad next time, add in those macronutrients and that “dreaded” salad 🥗 will no longer be so dreaded after all!
