I’m new to this - I know we have a face to face day but not sure which day it is so I’ll just post today. I haven’t posted any pics of my face or body transformation on here yet but being that this is about accountability, here it goes. Today is 7 weeks keto and daily exercise. Today is also nearly 6 months since breast cancer surgery. Some days I struggle to see the progress in the mirror regardless how much looser my clothes are fitting, the loss I see when using the measuring tape, or just how healthy I feel. Earlier today ,I shared my go to essentials for our emergency “boo boos” ... one of the things I mentioned was my daughters recent scrape ... we are used to applying lavender essential oil while we air dry the wound. This process helps avoid build up of infection and makes healing a lot faster as it dries superficial skin first then further healing continues.. Lavender helps heal broken capillaries so bruising is lessened.... My kids call me their “mystical mountain healer of the clarion call “ every time we do this routine .. headache, allergy, sprain, muscle spasm etc.... I had a million and 1 excuses to NOT workout today and #1 excuse being that my belly and bloat issues came back and I am not feeling 00% unfortunately I think the sickness I had Friday with vomiting was actually related to my stomach/distended belly bloat issue that I've been having off and on for well over a month.. My mind needed that workout more than anything so 7:30pm and I pushed play and got it done. No, it wasn't the best workout but I did what I could handle and lightened up on weights and skipped a few ab moves due to not be able to tighten my abs much. But I did it. My mind feels better, my body feels good and crappy all at once haha but overall I'm happy I didn't let my excuses get in the way. . Weakness, chronic fatigue, depression, sleep issues, anxiety, weakened immune system, inflammation & swelling all sound very familiar to most of us. I started that 13 week program again today! My cleanse was great but I was missing the challenge of these workouts. I have made some serious gains this year with my health, fitness, and personal growth! I knew when this year started that it would be my year of growth but I didn't have any idea how much!
