Hit like for these sweet potato tacos SERVES 4 High fibre, iron, calcium, protein & carbs 350 Calories Ingredients 2 large Sweet Potatoe Extra Virgin olive oil Smoked paprika 1 red pepper 1 green pepper 400g tin of kidney beans 400g tin of chuck peas 2 Avocados Juice of 1/2 a lemon Preheat the oven 200c/400F/gas 6 Slice the sweet potatoes into approx 1cm thick slices. Pop on a baking tray and drizzle a small amount of oil over them. Season woth paprika. Rub into the potato. Pop in the oven, bake for 15 mins then turn them over, bake until golden brown, approx 30 minutes in total. Whilst the potato is cooking, cut the peppers into strips (remove the core). Drain the kidney beans and chickpeas, pop in a bowl add the peppers. Choo up the avocado flesh in cubes, add the lemon juice (add coriander as optional extra) season to your taste. Divide up all the above on a plate, serve with A Seasonal salad. This exercise is one of my favorite for working the glutes, as well as an educational tool for repatterning deadlift mechanics. ⏬⏬ ✅A typical RDL without a band mainly works the hamstrings and glutes in the stretched position. Ultimately, we lose tension on the glutes as we raise to lockout. However, with the band we allow for a change in the strength curve, giving us more tension at the top of the movement, biasing the glutes over the hamstrings. ⏬⏬ ✅I like to load this movement as much as I can to really hammer the glutes.
