Happy first day of Fall 🍃🍂🍁Apple crisp is always a favourite of mine this time of year! I added protein powder to the crumble for an extra protein boost! Here is the recipe⬇️ 🍎Apple Crisp🍏 Ingredients: Apple filling: •6 medium gala apples, peeled, cored and chopped •½ lemon freshly squeezed (about 2 Tbsp. juice) •1 tsp cinnamon Crisp: •1 cup large flake oats •¼ cup oat flour •¼ cup @LeanFitBrand Vanilla Whey protein powder •½ cup coconut sugar •1 tsp cinnamon •½ tsp nutmeg •¼ cup coconut oil, soft Method: Preheat oven to 375ºF. Peel, core and chop apples and place in large mixing bowl, add fresh lemon and cinnamon, mix together until combined and set aside. Stir together all crisp ingredients except coconut oil until well combined. Add coconut oil to dry ingredients and mix together using your hands until all clumps are gone. In 8x8 glass baking dish pour apple mixture in and top with the crisp mixture, spread equally over apples and press down gently (I covered mine with foil while baking). Bake for approximately 30-35 minutes in preheated oven until edges are crisp and bubbling. Let cool slightly and serve with greek yogurt or ice cream if desired. 🍎🍏 #applecrisp #fallfood #appleseason #leanfitprotein

Won't say I'm an expert but, I've had to get creative with food as I'm gluten, lactose and fructose intolerant. I was forced to eat healthier. TRAIN THE WHOLE BACK by. Follow my 👉👉💪 @fbody_tips - To get a wide and thick looking back, make sure you hitting all parts of the back for the most optimal growth. You want to make sure you have exercises in your routine for your lats, mid back and lower back. - The lats can be hit through pull ups, chin ups, lat pulldowns, and straight arm pulldowns. This will help with back width. - The mid back can be hit through variations of rows. Some of my favorites are the barbell row, pendlay row, DB rows and seated cable row. This will help with back thickness. - Lastly, there's the lower back. Deadlifts hit them really well, along with rack pulls, back extensions and good mornings. - What's your favorite back exercise? Since today is Sunday, let’s talk about chocolate 🍫 🍫🍫🍫, or more accurately cacao. Cacao is hailed as a superfood due to the abundance of nutrients and minerals it contains ✨✨ Most notably is the compound called theobromine contained in cacao. Theobromine aids: 🍫cognitive function 🍫lowers blood pressure 🍫in inflammation 🍫improves cholesterol 🍫lowers blood pressure I really love snacking on these cacao protein balls. To make them you’ll need: Dry ingredients -1/3 of a cup of oat flour -1 serving of @welleco chocolate nourishing protein -1 tablespoon of raw cacao powder -1 teaspoon of maca powder -1/4 of a teaspoon of salt Wet ingredients -2 tablespoons of almond butter -2 tablespoons of coconut oil -1/4 of a cup of maple syrup -A dash of vanilla extract. 1.Combine the dry ingredients in a blender. 2.Melt the wet ingredients in a small pot and mix until combined. 3.Mix wet ingredients and dry ingredients. You should have a dough like consistency. 4. Roll into balls and store in the fridge! (Or eat them all) whichever you prefer 😂😂 These chocolate protein energy balls are decadent, gooey and nutritious! Please do try them out and let me know how it turns out! 😊🌱
