Gluten free avocado banana bread! Typo? Nope, there’s an actual avocado in there! I subbed the avocado instead of using butter to make it healthier, give it a great consistency, made the bread so moist and you don’t taste any avocado flavor. A must try substitute! . . [👉🏽swipe to see video👉🏽] . . •Ingredients -1 1/2 cups almond flour -1 tsp. baking powder -1/4 tsp. baking soda -2 tsp. cinnamon -1/2 tsp. salt -1 avocado, halved, pitted, flesh scooped out -2 medium ripe bananas -2 Tbsp. coconut oil -2 tsp. vanilla extract -1/4 cup maple syrup -1 large egg -(Optional) 1/4 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips . 1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. 2. In a medium bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. In a food processor, pulse avocado and bananas until blended. Add coconut oil, vanilla, maple syrup and egg; pulse until just blended. Add avocado mixture to almond mixture and stir until combined. Fold in nuts or chocolate chips, if using. 3. I use parchment paper but if not grease inside of load pan. Spread batter in pan. Bake until bread is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 55 to 65 minutes. This blueberry smoothie/ milkshake just rocked my world! Organic Greek yogurt, organic heavy cream, organic blueberries, Swerve sweetener, fresh organic lemon juice, kosher salt, organic vanilla, and a small amt of vodka. The vodka was added to make the ice cream (which is what this was 1st) more scoopable. I blended the ice cream into a smoothie and added a bit more lemon juice. Here are some great pre-workout meals with a focus on protein for muscle building and carbohydrates for muscle building and energy. I was recently under the impression that pre-workout you should have a big meal in order to have a lot of energy and give nutrients to your muscles. This is not true, this is because your body will actually be thrown into overtime trying to digest that meal. So I made the swap to smaller pre workout meals and it’s worked better for me. So don’t feel the need to stuff yourself before a workout, smaller meals with a focus on protein and carbs will give you everything you need💪🏻
I couldn't resist sharing this recipe! Super moist banana bread with rich dark chocolate swirls and a hint of coffee. Not your Grandmother's banana bread! • • Chocolate Marbled Banana Bread 10 tablespoons butter, softened ⅔ cup brown sugar ⅓ cup sugar 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla 1 ½ cinnamon ¼ teaspoon nutmeg 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 3 ripe bananas = 1 cup mashed ½ cup sour cream 2 eggs 1 ½ cups flour * ½ cup chocolate chips 1 tablespoon instant coffee * Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, grease a 9x5 loaf pan. In a large bowl, combine the butter, sugars, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt, beating till smooth. Add the mashed bananas, sour cream, and eggs, again beating until smooth. Add the flour, stirring just until smooth. * Place the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Cook on high power in 20 second intervals, stopping to stir in between, until about 80% melted. Stir until smooth, letting the residual heat in the bowl melt the remaining bits of unmelted chocolate. Add the instant coffee and stir until dissolved. Add one cup of the banana bread batter to the melted chocolate and stir until well combined. * Spoon the plain batter and chocolate batter alternately into the prepared loaf pan. Swirl the batters together with a knife (don't overdo it or the colors will get muddled -- up and back 4-5 times should suffice). Bake bread for 45 minutes, then gently lay a piece of aluminum foil across the top,  to prevent over-browning. Bake for an additional 25 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean.
