CHICKEN WINGS!!! Is there anything better? “Of course Tony, there’s world peace.” Shut your damn mouth hippie and pass the blue cheese dressing! Anyway chicken wings or as my buddy calls them “chicken waaaaaaaaangs” are a perfect keto food. 🍗 🍗 🍗 🍗 🍗 These were fried up (hell yes fried) and paired with both traditional franks redhot and G Hughes sugar free BBQ sauce. They’re epic. To make them next level, I marinate in apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cracked pepper. GET YOU SOME!!! 🐔 👨‍🍳 🍽
Yayeee @ketotransformations did a Feature Follow Up on me today ☺️’s actually outdated & I’m down 37 lbs since beginning keto in January of this year! 🙌🏽 They asked me for some tips and if you’re new to keto/my page I’ll also post it here too 💕 Thanks for following my journey ✨ . . . ________________________________ . . Progress Update! 4 months in and a total of 30lbs lost while following a Ketogenic Diet. Has it been easy? Hell no. But over time it’s gotten better & here are a few tips I can share to help you if you’re thinking about going on Keto: 1️⃣Find out your suggested macros through a Keto Calculator. I used the Ruled Me Calculator you can find online for free. 2️⃣Invest in a food scale, especially in the beginning of your journey and log what you eat through a macro managing app. I use My Fitness Pal which is also free! 3️⃣Eating a keto diet isn’t complicated! Just stick to the essentials: meat, eggs, low carb vegetables (lettuce, zucchini, spinach, bok choy & asparagus), avocados (I tend to eat 1 a day), good fats like coconut oil, olive oil, butter, bacon fat (I sauté lots of things in that), cheese and heavy cream... and just get these ingredients and work from there! 4️⃣Water. Lots of water. I try to drink a gallon of water every day. I buy the 6pk gallons of water from Costco for under $5. 5️⃣Be patient. If you’re following the diet completely you are going to lose the weight! There were some weeks where I lost 5lbs in a week and some that I stayed the same or even fluctuated up a pound or two even when I was sticking to the diet. Super frustrating but by following the diet I found that I felt amazing anyway! I had lots of energy and was able to start unintentionally intermittent fasting which I do 16:8 now. This diet was supposed to be a temporary fix but it has ended up being a lifestyle and one of the best decisions I could have ever made for myself. I still have 30lbs to lose to reach my goal weight but I already feel amazing inside and out & that’s the magic of keto. ✨✨
