Late post but my got my workout in this evening which started with a walk with Kona downtown, then W3D1 Chest and Shoulders from LG WT 3.0 plan. I finished off with a Glute Burnout cardio finisher with @christinesalus .Can't wait for this summer teaching session to be over so I can get back to my normal weekly routine. This morning's run and a workout were a real struggle......way too hot🌞🌞🌞 But I'm glad I got it done.....I knew that once I'm done I'll feel so much better 🏃💪🙌😀 Who else is doing the new @laurengleisberg workouts??? Got my hiit cardio in today and then did 10 minutes on the elliptical because Monday and Tuesday did not happen. Just being honest with you all. Today was a new day and I killed it! Didn’t workout this morning because I overslept after being sick in the middle of the night. Didn’t wanna do it at all today. But these are the days that really count: when you do it anyway without motivation, without inspiration, without want, with need. So got it done. W2D3 @laurengleisberg — What do you do it for? My mantra during my run today was “This is a choice. You can do this” I don’t know about you but sometimes I get in my head during a workout and need a reminder that I made the decision to do this! It’s a choice and a privilege to be able to run, walk, bike, dance, etc 💕 Lets not forget that not everyone has that choice. If you choose to do something, you can do it! Best laid plans... so, I’ve been doing the #lgsummerfitcation on schedule and following each day with whatever quick #toneitup short workout is for the day or a short run for my cardio. The #tiusummertoneup and #lg3point0 were going great and I planned all my workouts for the week so that I was actually excited to do them. I was literally half way through my LG HIIT and was taking a 30 second break after the kettlebell swings, just standing there, when I heard a pop and my ankle turned. Luckily I was close to the table and was able to lean on it to catch myself rather than smacking my head on it. But I’m so frustrated!!!! Uuuuughhhhh. I took 7 minutes to cry and pull myself together. Rather than do the tiu wo, I finished the abs portion of the LG HIIT and did tomorrow’s back and biceps on my knees. I made it work. We will see how this dumbass ankle feels tomorrow and will work from there 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️. Side note, I realized that I drink well over 100 oz of water a day. And then there’s the coffee and the smoothie, and ta da! Meals were on point today 👌🏻A few years ago I had no idea what proper nutrition was, even though I thought I ate mostly healthy foods. I believed that all carbs were bad and consumed a lot of processed foods that I thought were still “healthy.” (Aka...frozen dinners, granola bars, crackers...anything easy...you name it). I never checked labels and didn’t really think about what I was putting into my body. Fast forward to today: I eat more food then I did in high school/college (5 meals a day!) I know how to portion control my meals and eat the right carbs about 3 or 4 times a day....talk about a huge difference. Eating the right food at the right time has helped me to build muscle, which I’ve seen more and more these past few months! Happy hump day and day 3 of #tiusummertoneup 🤗. After feeling like crap yesterday, I feel amazing today! And the chat was finally fixed on the app so I got to do my bootycall with allllllll the babes!!! It was amazing 😍! Pmwo was #lgsummerfitcation W3D2 since I missed it yesterday.
