I love everything about this picture! . . 1. Mostly because a year ago I never would have taken a picture like this. I probably wouldn’t even have been in the picture. . . 2. This is about the point where I stopped giving to f’s about my hair lol. Which normal is NOT like me. The humidity knocks the curls out almost instantly 🤷🏻‍♀️. . . 3. I know the woman inside has changed. Health and fitness has changed my life. Both mentally, physically, with my relationships, with my outlook on life. . . People sometimes still give me a hard time for what I’m doing as a coach. I’m the annoying IG girl who has to film her workouts and drink her shake. Veggies first, blah blah blah. . . If people don’t get it. Fine. But this picture is proof enough for me and reason to believe in this with every ounce of my being. When I see these kind of pictures from the women I work with - that’s enough. . . Take the leap. Screw what others think. Do what makes you happy. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
Abs and core work! 🔥 SWIPE LEFT! I usually throw in a quick ab combo at the end of a workout (usually it's one of my at home routines). But sometimes I like to switch it up and use some gym equipment! These are a few of my fav exercises right now: 1️⃣Reverse Crunch Leg Drops X10 (These are killller) Sit-Ups X15 Repeat for 3 SETS 🔥 2️⃣ Cable Ab Twist X12 each side. These are amazing for hitting the sides of your abdominals! You can also do these from different angles to hit different areas (low to high, high to low). Repeat for 3 SETS 🔥 3️⃣ Bosu Ball Leg Raises X10 (keeping the legs as straight as possible) Jumping Plank X12 (keep the feet glued together and really focus on using your core to get your legs from side to side) Repeat for 3 SETS 🔥
well.. heels are nice but I like my sneakers more🤗 currently learning to feel sexy in my flat shoes, as when i'm in my heels. that’s about confidence and self-respect. so sad that so many girls are struggling with self-insecurities nowadays and that's really the fault of our society. it's still up to all of us to encourage and support each other. remember real queens fix each other's crown without telling the world that it was crooked.

🔷 This type of #TransformationTuesday story from my client Paul is #why I became a personal trainer/coach - Chris 🔷 “After years of knee problems and a knee surgery, I was out of shape, in pain and unable even to cycle or swim comfortably, let alone do my favorite things such as downhill ski with my children. I had gone through several cycles of physical therapy with multiple practitioners and it only seemed to make things worse. The doctors told me that I shouldn’t expect to improve given that I had already tried everything. They were recommending further surgeries. 🔷 Then I met Chris. He did a comprehensive evaluation and immediately found exercises I could do pain free to start getting back in shape. He also analyzed my diet and my sleeping patterns and recommended specific changes. He was encyclopedic and customized everything to me in a way that I had never experienced before. This was far more effective than anything I’d read on the internet or the cookie cutter stuff that I’d received from physical therapists. 🔷 Thinking it probably not possible, I told him I wanted to ski aggressively like I did in my 20’s. Slowly, he took me from not even being able to cycle to having stronger legs (and stronger full body) than I’d ever had in my life. I was aggressively skiing double black diamond runs with my kids and even on playing on an ultimate Frisbee club team. Working out for LOOKS VS. GOALS ⁉️My motivation and drive to work out has almost completely changed from when I first started coming to the gym. I used to be motivated by the number on the scale, or the amount of inches I had gained or lost in different areas.. Now I’m driven to work out through setting fitness goals 👊 My current goals revolve around building my strength on deadlifts, squats and bench press 🏋🏼‍♀️ The feeling of lifting heavier weights each week is SO much more satisfying than looking a certain way! I don’t want to obsess over how I look and constantly be chasing a ‘better’ body; I want to be driven through trying to be as strong and healthy as I can be whilst enjoying the process on the way 😃💪🏋🏼‍♀️☀️💖🍑💕✨ #strongnotskinny #transformationtuesday
