Nothing beats playing in the sun and this summer i have been doing just that! 🏖 Mixing up my routine so i don't get bored 🌞 (which otherwise can happen and then i really need to push to motivate myself). This weekend I was surrounded by family which is always such a nice feeling as we don't always get together as often as we like due to such busy lifestyles.🐾 It does really make you think that you need to make time more often 🐳 Do you get to spend a lot of time with your family? 💕💕
#healingwithpilates #50 this week is FOOTWORK REMIXED - Footwork is a fundamental Pilates workout which can be done on the Reformer, Wundachair or Cadillac. ▪️I am showing a remix version using the #fitball as a great variation and challenge. (⚠️Please keep the focus on the change up of my foot position in the 🎥) The Pilates Footwork is a great warm up exercise which clearly involves the feet, legs, hips, core and glutes. The position of the pelvis and torso essentially stays stable throughout all Footwork variations, the aspect that changes is the position of the legs. The musculature of the lower body is challenged in subtle different ways while the core remains constant - recommended neutral pelvis and spine. - - / / - - - ⚠️ I accentuate the importance of full knee extension on the reformer and on the ball, activating the quads and abdominals, without hyper extension, and mindful eccentric control of the hamstrings. Hareket her zaman iyi geliyor 🤸🏻‍♀️ #okadarbasit • We are back from our #weekendgetaway and it was amazing to unwind for two days. But I definitely didn’t watch my diet and ate more cheese and bread than usual 🤷🏻‍♀️ Guess what, I feel pretty gross right now 🤢 As soon as we got back home I first prepared us a big salad then hopped on the mat for 20 minutes to get the blood flowing, moving those muscles felt so good! #itsthatsimple
