Morning y’all! Well it’s going on noon so maybe it’s good afternoon!!! Just finished my #tiubootycall !! Walked the #tiupups 1.25 miles , walked another 1.25 on the treadmill! Did the dms, took the #studiotoneitup class Absolutely gorgeous with @stefanie !! Great workout Stef!! You always kick my 🍑!!! I also did the mindful meditation 🧘‍♀️! 😍Then I did Day 16 of #ywadedicate ! I enjoyed the practice today!! Happy not to have used my arms much! My left shoulder is bothering me now! Sigh! So I gotta be careful! Anyway last nites M5 was the spicy zoodles which was so yummy!! Gonna have the remainder for lunch today!! I also made chocolate donuts and also the coconut mango muffins this morning !! Gonna try those out in a moment!! I had to use vanilla protein cuz I don’t have any coconut! Also used oat flour instead of almond! Also put some coconut in the batter!! Hope they turned out!!! Are you hanging in there @bblisa_tiu ?? I’m hanging 😂! I just gotta remember to drink more water!! Run 22/68 - ✅ 7 miles in the bank this morning. I have no idea how I messed this up, but today was supposed to be speed work with my long run on Saturday 😑 I woke up super early and I was pumped for this run! I drove out to where I normally do my longer runs outside but it was SO DARK and scary, I literally couldn’t see anything. I got right back in my car and drove home to hop on the tread 😂 Lesson learned - look twice at the schedule, and make sure long runs are on the weekends so I can do them in the daylight! I’m glad @runtothefinish wrote that article about why tread runs shouldn’t be looked down upon. I definitely fine tuned my mental toughness this morning, I’ve never run on the tread for that distance. The #nrccoach said something at the end of the run that really resonated with me: “Think of these miles as a little more change in the bank. It will all add up when you need to cash out at the end!” Saving my pennies for @ocmarathon - I’m coming for you, 26.2! (Oh, and also? I did a thing with my hair. 😈 Left is before, right is after!)

Hi everyone! I know it has been a hot minute since I was last on here but I am jumping on to checkin for the first time this year. I have been exercising and eating LCG but I was dealing with some uncomfortable tummy issues. I was convinced it was my gall bladder but a scan earlier this week ruled that out. I am so glad because I was not excited about any sort of surgery or trouble with that. I am doing some modifications to my diet to eliminate gas producing foods that tend to ferment in your system (FODMAPs) and have had success with it the last couple of days. I have also incorporated a good amount of turmeric (Golden lattes🥰) and peppermint to soothe my gut as well. I have made some changes for the better in how I feel in a very short period of time! I am loving my body by leaving behind foods that are healthy but don’t work for my body. Another day, another amazing prenatal workout thanks to @katrinaascott! 💕 Since today was ab day in the studio I opted for a full body workout (Mama Tone on demand) instead. I’ve also been trying to follow every workout with a good, gentle stretch session this week and it’s made a difference! I’m feeling surprisingly good for 24w + 5d pregnant 🤰🏻 And I cant believe we’re almost done week one of the #tiuloveyourbody series!

During today’s killer ab workout, I realized I NEVER shared my goals for #tiuloveyourbody !! How dare me. . 💖 Nutrition- girls, I didn’t limit myself this holiday season whatsoever. But I aim to keep it clean this challenge! No one is perfect and I expect some setback, but I will be checking in with my meals! Plus this challenges recipes are freaking DELISH. . 💖 Workouts! - we ALL have those days where it’s so cozy in bed and the rain is hitting the window just right. Take that in and sleep! BUT get SOMETHING in whether it’s DMs, a class, yoga, a walk! I want to be productive in any way. . 💖 Self Care- I care for others more than myself most times and I lose myself, I add stress, get break outs, feel like a flop. Well, I’m going to try to put a little me time first. Read, keep moving and apply face masks more often! . . 💖 Community- this community is the bomb. I want to try to involve more, motivate others and reach out and cheer YOU on!
⬅️ On the left: the very first ‘before’ picture I was actually able to take (I was so embarrassed of how bad it had gotten) when I was starting my journey with @toneitup. This was probably a month or so into forming new health and fitness habits.. ➡️ On the right: A picture I took this morning after 10 days of a new intermittent fasting schedule, roughly 1.5 years of following the @toneitupnutrition plan and working out about 70-80% of the time. ⠀⠀ I wanted to post this today because this is where my body is NOW, and to me this represents so much more than a picture I could potentially share 7 weeks from now when my body will (hopefully lol) be closer to my goal. This represents what a CONSISTENT (again, like 70ish% of the time) schedule, lifestyle and habit change can do. If I’m being honest, my body on the right still isn’t my ‘goal’! I still pick and poke at places I want to change every day. But this body is happy — I had spaghetti for dinner last night and used regular organic noodles (and homemade TIU approved pasta sauce and chicken tenders that were to die for), I still have honey wheat toast for breakfast and I still eat pineapple pizza more regularly than I probably should tbh 😋 This body would also jump in a swimsuit and head to the beach without hesitation, this body doesn’t have to try on 10 outfits to find the right fit or one to hide my flaws (now I just try on 10 outfits bc I’m indecisive) and most importantly, this bod is HEALTHY!!! In my opinion, you really can have it all. It just takes work to find what that means for you, and you will girl! I have your back and I know hundreds of thousands of other girls who have your back too #tiucommunity
The last two days have been tough -- I didn't anticipate how hard it would be to get through the day without seeing Chapter in the morning. Today, though, I don't teach the first prep so I did have time to do the first feeding and drop off. Both have me feeling ready to give my whole self to the day. My back, tailbone and hip flexor are still really sore this morning. I worked out anyway and modified where needed. I know I need to continue stretching throughout the day and use the foam roller and possibly go to the chiropractor 👨‍⚕️ I go through this every 2 or 3 months it seems.
