I've been avoiding chocolate since I've been breastfeeding (SO hard to do!), so I've been frantically looking for healthy desserts/treats I can have with my morning coffee that don't feature chocolate. I'm now on to my third healthy peanut butter cookie recipe and have finally found a delicious one! This recipe is from @ohsothymely - it is super easy to make and only has six ingredients! It’s go time 😎😏🔥🔥 this week is the week I begin my SECOND yoga teacher training classes. I’ll be doing yoga basically every day, whether it’s practicing in the studio, reading, writing, learning, rehearsing.... I’m so excited! This type of busy doesn’t scare me. Yoga is something that speaks to my soul. And that’s why I’m doing this ✨ That is why I’ve decided to do TWO certifications at the same time 😆 not because I’m crazy... it’s because I’m passionate about this. What sets your soul on fire? I was convinced I had conquered my inner mean girl. You know, that girl in my head who’s like “yeah right you’re the worst” and talks me out of stuff? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And then as I was listening to a podcast this morning, I was like “whaaaaaaaat” and realized she’s not gone. She’s just way sneakier than she once was. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Instead of coming right out and telling me I can’t do something, she shows up as an “I don’t know” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I don’t know if we’re making the right decision moving from a house to an apartment. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m not sure if I can balance all of these things I’ve signed up for. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Do I really want to build a successful business when it’s so far outside my comfort zone? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ No longer listening to that mean girl when she starts to talk me out of things. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Instead, I’m gonna acknowledge her, figure out why she’s saying those things, and try to move past her. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ PS - I started from the beginning with “The Life Coach School Podcast” by Brooke Castillo and HIGHLY recommend it. I’m focusing on mindset moving into 2019 and I can already tell she’s gonna help me change my outlook on how I approach life.
Amen to that @womenshealthmag 🙌🏼 This weekend was hard in a lot of ways. It was so good to see family and I got my workout in both days. At the same time, I was also processing the grief of a few lost family members over the course of the last 1.5 years since my grandpa’s funeral was on Saturday. As @terratonesitup once said sometimes it’s good to just “feel your feels” and I 100% agree. A few days to just lay low and recharge were very much needed. Never ever neglect your mental health! I’m glad to move forward with a lighter spirit! ✨ I am ready to make the most of the week ahead! AND it is the final week of regular volleyball season! 😱🏐

Hey, do you ever struggle with accountability?! 🙋🏻‍♀️ Have you ever found it super challenging to find the ENERGY to show up for yourself day after day?! 🙋🏻‍♀️ What about wanting to do something for yourself, buuuttt...never actually doing it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Those struggles👆🏻are for real. I would stay on track for maybe 5 ish days & then go off the deep end. 😣 It was so frustrating. ...... and then, I became a Coach. •I wasn’t “qualified”. •I didn’t pay for a “training”. •I wasn’t interviewed. •I was NOT at my goal weight. •I didn’t have a lot of confidence. •I am not a fitness expert. 🌟BUT, I DID feel super determined to get my health in check. (Mentally & Physically) 💪🏻 🌟I also started feeling super PASSIONATE about helping other Mamas & future mamas know it’s POSSIBLE. 🖤 -to love themselves -to feel confident -to love their body -to feel awesome in whatever outfit they choose. I had spent a whole year on the roller coaster of motivation. 🙃😣 I was nowhere near where I wanted to be, but I knew if I started... Morning girls! I got the studio tone it up class with @studiotoneitupchyna today and absolutely loved it! I definitely have a special place in my heart for kickboxing💦. M1 was avocado rice cakes 💚. I’m about to take some me time and do 20 minutes of reading before I get ready for the day. Let’s choose positive and happy this Monday morning! 💗✨
So excited to be back in a routine, and even more excited to watch these muscles grow over the next eight weeks. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The interesting part of working out in a gym now instead of my basement is seeing what other people do for fitness. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ To put it simply: I’m glad to have someone on my screen telling me exactly what to do for the 35 mins I’m there so I don’t have to try to read the directions on the side of a machine or spend a million years on the elliptical. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ All about removing the guess work. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The fact that it costs a fraction of what a live personal trainer would is just icing on the cake. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Day 2/32
Happy Monday! Took me forever to fall asleep last night, although I wasn’t too tired when I woke up (but I’m sure I will be later!) First studio workout in a while since #lgfallchallenge is done! Felt good to be back in the studio! Yesterday I meal prepped a bunch of fall things 🍁🍎 I made yet another batch of my Apple cider muffins (I will never get sick of them, 4th week in a row!)
