I’m so glad I took these pics after my second baby. 💕 There are two things I am always hearing about losing baby weight: ☝🏻It’s easy and fast to lose weight if you breastfeed, and ✌🏻You won’t ever look as good as you did before kids. It’s just not possible. 🤔 I think both are wrong, at least for most of the moms I know. It takes longer than you think, BUT you can look BETTER than you expect. Really. Trust me: if I can, you can! 👌🏻 I did this as a busy working mom of 2. 👩🏼‍⚕️ I did it with workouts that were 30min (or less), 5 days a week. 💪🏻 I did it with occasional treats 🍷 + 🍪 + 🍫 AND I did it all while coaching and inspiring others. Even when I wasn’t at my goal, I knew I would get there. I love that coaching gave me the accountability and motivation I needed. Love my fitfam! 👭 Anyway...no matter what your goals, or even if you’ve given up hope...we should chat. I have the tools. The difference in these photos is seriously blowing my mind right now! 🤯 Not just because of how I look, but because I remember how I FELT in the photo on the left. 😕 It was Easter 3 years ago, and I was so uncomfortable in my own skin. #sidekick had just turned one, and I knew I NEEDED to make a change. I felt heavy...my body, my heart and my mind. Just bogged down and struggling. I didn't have the answer then. I didn't know what was going to happen or what kind of results I would get. I certainly didn't have a plan for what I was going to do. So I took a leap of faith. I did a a couch to 5k program. Then I started home workouts again. Finally, I made the decision to mentor other women who struggle like I was. And struggle I have. I know you might have too. That doesn't just go away, but it can get better. Miss G woke up fever free but still not 💯. So rather than all of us going skiing as originally planned, she got to chill at grandma’s house while mom and dad made a quick visit to the Mountain. It was cold enough to see individual snowflakes. ❄️

I was told by an ex before that I don’t have an ass haha! I think I was told it was “non-existent.” 🙄 Rude, but there was some truth to it 🤷🏻‍♀️ You know what else I’ve been told?! I can do and have anything I set my mind to! I’ve been embarrassed of it for years so here’s the thing...YES, I’m doing this for me so I can feel confident and happy about it! And YES, I’m doing it to prove him and anyone else who’s doubted me wrong because I’m up for challenges and hate being underestimated ✊🏼 . . That’s one of my main goals so needless to say I’ve been loving this abs + booty workout I’ve been doing!! Dinner! Family had pasta and I wanted to satisfy my craving so this is my take on a vegan zoodle spaghetti!! I've tweaked the recipes that I've borrowed from other friends check out my IG stories for how I made it! Also I learned that the device used to make zucchini noodles is called a spiralizer and I'll be picking one up soon even though I think my knife skills are in point! 😂😂
“Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new.” . . I know it won’t seem like a big deal to most, but I had a major victory yesterday during my workout! 😍🙌🏼 I have been so hesitant to try this particular (side-plank) move during my Pilates/yoga fusion work out. After a rough third pregnancy, nearly 20 weeks of bedrest, and recovering from symphysis pubis dysfunction, I was afraid that I would be too weak. 😞 I was prepared to modify until I gained enough strength through my pelvis to hold this move. . . But something inside of me was pulling me to just TRY. Even if I only held this move for two seconds I would be happy, and I almost started to cry when I realized I could hold it for nearly 30 seconds. 😭🙏🏼 Choosing to lift up my knee for two seconds just to see if I could do it has given me SO much confidence in my abilities with this program!! 🌟🌟🌟 . . It’s just a perfect example of how we don’t truly realize our potential until we push ourselves just outside of our comfort zones. Don’t hold back just because something doesn’t seem easy. My favorite Dijon chicken recipe was on the menu tonight. . It’s SO easy. And SO yummy. And the whole fam loves it too! Well, the whole fam usually loves it — Henry was giving me his best two year old today and refused to eat anything I made for him. 🙄 . But it’s good I promise! If you’re looking for an easy way to spice up some chicken, then this is it! . A little Dijon mustard, tablespoon of olive oil, some parsley flakes, a little lemon juice, throw it in the oven for about 25-30 minutes on 450 (just keep your eye on it) and voila! You’ve got yourself a meal! Don’t forget the Brussels sprouts!
