finally friYAY & first day of June 🌞 woke up really early this morning (I swear my internal alarm clock keeps getting set earlier and earlier) and made these Almond Flour Blueberry Muffins (+ dairy & gluten free) ~ such clean ingredients & so so tasty ~ not the prettiest muffins I’ve ever made but it’s the taste that counts right ?? . . 2 cups almond flour + 1/2 tsp baking soda + 1/8 tsp salt + 3 eggs + 1/4 cup honey + 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted + 1 tbsp lemon juice + 1 tsp vanilla extra + 1 cup organic blueberries 👉🏼 combine dry ingredients, combine wet ingredients, add wet to dry, fold in blueberries, fill muffin cups, bake for 22-25 min 325 degrees & ✨ simple as that

1st #gymselfie ‼️I need a lot of work I know, but I can’t believe I even took this one being that it’s my first time in a gym after many years & what an eye opening experience it was! 🤣 . I Finished the Sweat 12 Week Challenge two days ago & felt like I was on top of the world. 🙌🏼 Then I started BBG Stronger today & felt so insecure. 😖 I’m used to working out in my kitchen where there’s no mirror & certainly no strangers! First off, working out in front of the mirror was horrifying for me! Is that what my body looks like when I squat, jump, etc!?! All those rolls & jiggles!?! And then I’m in a gym where everyone can see!?! 😩 . But then I thought about @graymatterstrong, @sunseaandsquats, @shaygetsreal_food.fit.fun & all the wonderful ladies that keep it real & encourage self love. So I reframed my thoughts, continued my workout & cranked out Legs in a corner where I felt a little hidden. 😆. . Needless to say I finished and felt sooo great after, but boy do I need to work on my self love & confidence. I loved using weights again and although I got a dose of reality working out in front of a mirror in a gym, I feel more motivated to work on my nutrition, body confidence, & getting strong! For the next 12 weeks, this will be my challenge. 😊💪🏼. If you’ve gotten this far, thank you!! You’re the reason this fit community is as amazing at it is!! 😘 . Wasn’t sure about getting on my #week13bbg arms circuits tonight after a hard day, driving to and from Haslemere and walking around a big ol’ site with @igwigwolf, including a number of steep climbs (def no need for any #glute related exercises after that! 🍑🍑🍑). . Happy hump day! 🐪🐪🐪 . I took a week off from working out...not voluntarily but I did need the break. Trying to juggle my online class, working full time, working out, and other commitments, I was starting to feel burnt out. Normally I turn to exercise as a way to release stress, but trying to find the time was just more stress for me. It’s okay to take a break, as long as you keep that motivation to get back into It! . I was unsure of what to do today so I went back to the basics...to #BBG ! I did week 13 arms of #bbg2 and I forgot how tough @kayla_itsines was!! 😅 I don’t remember the last time I did a 28 minute circuit of hers so this was definitely a good shock to the body!! As I told you I have decided to do #bbg2 again. And after legs and arms #week13bbg I can tell you: 🔅 It is not difficult as it was. Means I made some serious strength and gainz 🤗 🔅 Anyway I am so sore 😅 . My body definitely loves cardio, jumping everywhere and burpees. And as you know, it is so important to listen to your body 💜 . I will continue this routine until Christmas and then go back with lifting once or twice a week because lifting is life 🏋🏻‍♀️💜 . Today I'm celebrating 2 things! No.1 is that this week is the first time I've reached and finished #week13bbg it's taken me over a year to get to this point...I've struggled a lot mentally cause life is just fucking hard work and my body also didn't recover very quickly after the birth of baby no.2 in fact I'm still recovering! My hormones and gut really took a hit and I've had to readjust the foods I eat to help heal my gut. Gut health is super important, it's the engine that either makes your body & mind work at optimal speed or makes it crash and burn! No.2 is.. my tiny abs decided to say good morning!!! They disappear as soon as I ate breakfast but they were there and I'm celebrating!
